Kickstarted in 2010 by two friends, the festival was born as a small, free-spirited party in a fairytale landscape, and over ten years has since become one of the UK's most well-loved electronic music festivals whilst continuing to retain a hedonistic atmosphere.

Carreglwyd ist ein georgianisches Landhaus, nordwestlich von Llanfaethlu, Anglesey, Wales.

Die früheste Erwähnung des Anwesens stammt aus dem Jahr 1544, als William Griffiths, der Rektor von Llanfaethlu, dessen Vorfahren die Familie Griffiths aus Penrhyn waren, ein Haus namens "Ty'n y Pant" kaufte. Sein Enkel, der Kanzler William Griffiths, beaufsichtigte 1634 den Bau eines neuen Hauses an dieser Stelle. Ein weiterer William Griffiths, der Enkel des Kanzlers, nahm im späten 17. und frühen 18. Während des Besitzes von Holland Griffiths (1756-1839) im späten 18. und frühen 19. Jahrhundert wurden weitere Umgestaltungen des Anwesens vorgenommen, bei denen das Esszimmer, das Wohnzimmer und die Bibliothek eine große Renovierung erhielten. Das Interieur wurde in den 1980er Jahren aktualisiert.

Gottwood Festival takes place deep into the forest in the quaint grounds of Carreglwyd Estate, North Wales.

Carreglwyd is a Georgian country house, northwest of Llanfaethlu, Anglesey, Wales.

The earliest mention of the estate is in 1544, when William Griffiths, the Rector of Llanfaethlu, whose ancestors were the Griffiths family of Penrhyn, bought a house named "Ty'n y Pant". His grandson, the Chancellor William Griffiths, oversaw the building of a new house on the site in 1634. Another William Griffiths, the Chancellor's grandson, made further alterations in the late 17th century and early 18th century, the oldest of which remains on the southwest side of the house. The fine hall of the house dates to this period. During the ownership of Holland Griffiths (1756-1839) in the late 18th and early 19th century, further remodelling of the estate was conducted, during which time the dining room, sitting room and library were given a major renovation. The interior was updated in the 1980s.
